Looking for information about HTC's upcoming HTC One successor (no, it's not the "All New One")? <a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChs4anPo-RXRflaEWKfrAtw?feature=watch" sl-processed="1">Youtube user <em>GadgetReviews</em></a> has one total video published, but it just happens to be 12 minutes of hands-on love with the HTC M8.</div>

From the looks of things, we're seeing a very recent prototype (from 
February 19) of the AT&T branded unit. It's not a final version, as 
the software information is "Protected" — we're guessing it's running Android 4.4.2 and HTC Sense 5.5 — but it seems mostly production ready from the design point of view.</div>

The software itself seem very similar to the current HTC One, with 
some serious changes in the camera interface. The outside of the phone 
keeps the familiar HTC One look and feel, with the addition of an extra camera that the reviewer hasn't found a use for in his unit.</div>

HTC hasn't given many official clues just yet, but it's a given that we'll see everything there is to see about the M8 next month in London and New York. In the meantime, be sure to watch this one in case it disappears down one of the tubes!</div>

If you thought the dimpled soft-touch back of the Samsung Galaxy S5 signaled a new direction for Samsung,
 veering away from the fake stitched leather of the past year, well, the
 latest leak makes it look like Samsung's not quite done with that 
design trope just yet. Courtesy of <a href="https://twitter.com/evleaks/status/440187616181239809" sl-processed="1">@evleaks</a> we're getting a look at what is claimed to be the Samsung Chromebook 2. And its faux stitched leather back.</div>

That's right, not only has the stitched leather plastic look jumped from the Galaxy Note 3 to the TabPRO and NotePRO, it's now making the jump to the Chrome OS-powered Chromebook line of portable laptop things.</div>

There's no saying what exactly is going on with the new Chromebook 2 
(which would actually be the forth Chromebook that Samsung has produced,
 so who knows why it might be called number 2), though even this

Amid the many recent leaks of the new HTC One
 — a.k.a. M8 — it's a little ironic to see the device also cropping up 
in pixelated form in official HTC teaser videos. Nevertheless, HTC has 
gone live with a second teaser trailer for its new One, and it's all 
about metal. We all know about the (2013) HTC One's aluminum unibody, 
but apparently the <em>new</em> HTC One
 is even more metal. (That'd certainly fit in with recent leaks showing a
 wraparound aluminum chassis in place of the plastic trim of last year's
 model.)<br />

HTC has previously teased new and improved BoomSound speakers in the new HTC One. We'll see more of the company's next big thing at the official launch events in London and New York in just over three weeks time.<br />

like Google's Nexus 7 or Amazon's Kindle Fire.</div>

small update on the Google Books support page listing the new limit as

Searching for a restaurant that can satisfy
 everyone's culinary preferences isn't particularly easy on a 
smartphone's data connection. The process typically involves searching 
for a specific website, hoping there's a mobile version (nope), and 
searching around for a menu. Now Google's rolling out a feature in the 
US that should streamline things a bit. Just search Google for the menu 
and watch it appear as the top result.</div>

The menu comes complete with tabs for accessing 
different parts of menu, such as appetizers, entrees, and desserts. As

 and insist that Google "show me the menu for" when looking for food. </div>

The feature appears to be active immediately, but it may
 take a while before it supports the majority of restaurants around you.
 I had success searching for the same "Fonda San Miguel" restaurant 
provided in the screenshot, Pizza Hut, and a local Chinese place, but I 
had no luck with searches for Burger King, Chipotle, or Olive Garden. 
Right now the feature is more cool than useful, but hopefully that 
changes soon enough.</div>

These aren't the first USB flash drives we've seen that double as detachable storage for Android devices - that honor goes to <a class="external" href="http://blog.sony.com/press/sonys-new-usb-flash-drive-delivers-2-in-1-functionality-for-smartphone-and-tablets-users/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">the Leef Bridge from way back in June</a>.
 But darn it if Sony's new 2-in-1 flash drives aren't a whole lot 
slicker, combining MicroUSB and standard USB 2.0 plugs into a tiny 
package. From the single press image, it looks like the entire device is
 barely bigger than the two plugs put together. </div>

Sony's new flash drives will be available in 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB 
capacities starting in January. They'll command a premium over standard 
flash drives, of course: the 8GB version will retail for twenty bucks, 
the 16GB will be $30, and the 32GB version will be a whopping $62.99. 
Your Android phone or tablet will need to run 4.0 or higher and have USB
 On-The-Go capability to use the drive. If you've got all that, you 
should be able to get your file sharing on with full-sized desktops and 
laptops, or anything else with USB functionality, in no time. </div>

The drives will come with protective caps for both plugs in a choice 
of three colors (which Sony hasn't mentioned just yet). These should be 
popular with users who lament the lack of MicroSD options on many recent
 high-end phones, or those who just don't want to carry a USB cable 
around for file transfers. I only wish they came in USB 3.0 flavors. </div>
